WOODBURY COUNTY CONSERVATION
BOARD... offers
four (4) camping cabins from May 1 to October 31.

Built in 2001, the cabins are designed to offer a camping experience to those who do not own a camper, motor home or tent, with a few comforts of home.

Cabins are one room, 16’x18’ with a 10’covered deck.

Cabins are handicapped accessible.
RESERVATION PROCEDURE

Cabins are available by reservation only and may be reserved up to 12 months in advance.

Cabin fees for the entire stay must be paid when reservations are made. Payment options include MasterCard, VISA, cash, personal check and money order.

If paying by personal check, cash or money order, payment must be received
at WCCB: (4500 Sioux River Road, Sioux City, IA 51109) seven (7) days after reservation is made.

You will receive a confirmation of your reservation following receipt of payment.

There is a
$30 service charge on all returned checks.

Reservations are taken on a first-come/first-pay, first served basis.

Minimum two-night stay on weekends (Fri-Sat).

Minimum three-night stay on Holidays.

CHECK IN – CHECK OUT
Renters may check in after 4:00 pm and are
required to checkout by 1:00 pm. Cabin keys may be retrieved from the key safe
lock box on the cabin. Returned keys are to be locked inside the cabin. Lost or
stolen keys will result in a $50 replacement charge. Cabins and surrounding
grounds should be cleaned and left in good condition. You will be held
responsible for any damage or theft occurring during your stay.
CANCELLATIONS
All cabin fees, minus a $15
handling fee, will be refunded if your cancellation is received more than 30 days
before arrival. If you cancel or change your original reservation fewer than 30 days before arrival, you will forfeit one night’s cabin fee
($45). Rental fee
will be refunded in full when cancellation occurs due to circumstances beyond
the Conservation Board’s control.
RULES – REGULATIONS
Smoking prohibited in cabins. Quiet hours are 10:30 p.m.
– 6:00 a.m. Non-registered guests must leave by 10:30 p.m. Responsible party
of record will be held responsible for damages or theft that occurs. No keg beer
allowed in the cabins or the park. Pets are not allowed in or near the cabins.
No one under the age of 21 is allowed to reserve a cabin or occupy a camping
cabin unless that person is accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, 21 years
or older. Maximum number of occupants per cabin is 6. Park Officers are given
authority to refuse rental privileges and rescind any and all rental permits for
cause. All Park Rules & Regulations of the Woodbury County Conservation
Board are in effect.

LITTLE SIOUX PARK
Located 2 miles southwest of
Correctionville, Iowa on Hwy 31, this 547-acre area provides a wide variety of
recreational opportunities for the public. The 10-acre lake has angling
opportunities for large-mouth bass, bluegill and channel catfish. Only
electric trolling motors, oars and paddles are allowed on all county owned
lakes. There is a designated swimming beach area. A 95-unit
campground has water, electricity, modern restrooms and shower facilities.
Playground equipment is located near the campground. Hiking trails offer
opportunities to explore the marsh, native trees, shrub plantings, native
prairies and food plots. Park Officers are given authority to refuse
rental privileges and rescind any and all rental permits for cause. All
Park Rules & Regulations of the Woodbury County Conservation Board are in
effect.

COOKING – FIREWOOD
Cooking inside the cabin is strictly prohibited except for coffee maker
(not provided) and microwave (provided). All cooking should be done outdoors on
stoves (not provided) or over campfires and grills (provided). Firewood
available at camper registration booth during specific times for $5.00 per
bundle.
VEHICLES – PARKING
Parking is available immediately adjacent to each cabin for a maximum of
two (2) standard vehicles. No tents, R.V.’s fifth wheel campers, pickup
campers, popups, etc. will be allowed at the cabin site or in the cabin parking
lot.
